This month we invite you to join with thousands of other mothers around the world as we all work on PATIENCE together. Choose one of the following challenges (or make up your own) and post a comment here letting us all know what you’re working on and how it’s going.
Patience Journal: For one week, take a moment at the end of each day to record a time when your patience was tried and how you handled the situation. You’ll be amazed at how your patience will increase as you look for opportunities to increase it! And when you get to the end of the week, you’ll feel so great when you look back at all your little “accomplishments” in the development of patience.
Patience Assessment: Make a list of the situations and occurrences in your life that are most frustrating to you. Then look at each item on the list and ask yourself these questions: 1) Is this a necessary part of my life? (If the answer is no, get rid of it! If the answer is yes, move on to the next question); 2) How can I set myself up for success with this situation? What will be my reaction when this happens?
