A strong marriage is a wonderful thing . . . but it’s not always easy to get out for a date night, and then once you do get out, what do you do? What do you talk about? How do you use this investment of time and money to create a stronger relationship and a stronger family?
We, at The Power of Families, have put together a fun series of podcasts to help you make your date nights extra special.

This podcast features Eric and April Perry, the parents of four children and regular “date nighters” for the past 14 years.
The Idea: You and your spouse will set aside an evening for your date, and then you’ll spend the first 10-15 minutes listening to a topic introduction. Something like how to work on meaningful projects together, keep romance alive, find shared goals, manage differences in your marriage, establish family standards, establish a family identity, change your spouse–a “how-to” course–and expand your children’s horizons.
Then, once you’ve had a chance to talk over dinner (for example), you can join back with us and we’ll share some ideas we discussed in our own marriage. You can also share your thoughts in the comments section below.
And as a special bonus, you can download this PDF (to help you have fabulous dates on a budget!):
