It’s 5:30pm. Everyone is hungry and cranky. There isn’t a lot in the fridge.
What in the world are you going to make for dinner?
Sound all too familiar?
If so, this episode is for you!
Feeding our families is one of the most basic things we do as parents. It can be stressful and haphazard – or it can be deliberate, efficient, and even joyful. Listen as Saren and Power of Moms Director, April, discuss ideas (their own and ideas submitted by our community) for how you can develop a meal planning system that really works for your family.

For a good laugh after your done with your meal plan, I like this video called “The Hungry Games, Mom vs. Hungry Kids”, a parody of The Hunger Games.

I’m a consultant with The Pampered Chef, and they’ve recently come out with some great Freezer Meal Workshop classes. It serves a family of 6-8 for a week, and the meal can be finished usually within 20 minutes. I’ve been so grateful for these meals. I don’t use them all up in one week, but I use them as needed when life gets crazy.
