In Episode 67 of Power of Moms Radio, Homa Tavangar and April Perry discussed powerful ways that deliberate mothers can create a global-minded family environment–based on Homa’s first book, “Growing Up Global.”
Now Homa is back–with a second book and tons more ideas to bring a global worldview into our schools (whether they’re public, private, or homeschools).
The information in this podcast has the potential to forever shape the way we structure school activities, clubs, fundraisers, parties, and curriculum. Most of all, we’ll learn how to help our children develop a greater sense of empathy and understanding for those with whom we share this world.
QUESTION: What are your favorite ways to help your children become more globally minded?
CHALLENGE: Consider the ideas in this podcast and identify one way you could take a current activity your family or school is doing and give it a global twist!
