In this week’s episode, Saren answers these questions from our community:
Dealing with Anxiety:
Question from Jen: I’m wanting to feel better prepared to help my anxious daughter work with the pressures and anxieties she feels from school.
Saying Yes and No to the Right Things:
Question from Laurie: I’m nervous about balancing everything. I want to help in classrooms and have the kids participate in things but I don’t know what to say yes or no to.
Making the Most of Car Time:
Question from Brooke: With four kids spread across three schools, plus after school activities, I will be spending a lot of time in the car. It feels like wasted or unproductive time, not sure if there is a way to help with that.
After-School Routine:
Question from Caroline: We really struggle with the after school routine. What should come first, homework or play? I have a 2nd grader, 4th grader, and a 6th grader just going into middle school. It feels very challenging to balance their different personalities and what they need after school.
